Is the Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy by Tim Burton hardcore poetry?

Is it as full of rhymes and metaphors that must be decrypted, or he is almost in a straight line? Because it seems interesting, but I do not favor a lot of poetry.

Tim Burtons tragic story about young Oyster Boy in stop-motion. School project. Music by Thomas Newman, Any other Name

These deal immediately with the popular vein of the director's work, such as his latest movies, Sweeney Todd. Biographical material explains his desire to escape the mundanity, and it seems he did so through his imagination. The entrance to the main gallery is a walk through the maw of a sharp toothed carnival ghoul into a dark vestibule. The walls are covered with sketches and doodles and short comic strips filled with imaginary, wild haired characters. There are posters and stills from his movies peppering the downstairs theaters....
