Christmas Tree Air Freshener - live trees

Is there a way to get the smell out of a Christmas tree car air freshener?

It's a strange question, but I bought a fresh look for the mirror of my car today, rear view (one of the most expensive from Walmart that look like a Christmas tree), because it looks good, but it does not smell very pleasant. I think it may be a perfume roses, not sure.

You can wrap in cellophane or plastic wrap. Or perhaps sealed with lacquer?

Save your money and buy one of those Christmas tree air fresheners from your auto parts store or the car wash. It does nothing for the air, and did not work in my closet or car. I bought 4 jars and used them all, couldnt smell any difference with or without them in my car or closet. You cant smell the scent unless you put your nose against the jar.
